Balaji Cement

We are Balaji Cement, and you can find us at Plot No.66 in the Udhampur Industrial Area. It’s a pretty big area with lots of warehouses and factories, but we’ve been here at this plot for quite some time now. Being in an industrial zone means it’s always loud and there are heavy trucks moving around all the time. Our place is basically a big shed where we keep all the cement bags dry. It’s not really a place meant for browsing around or anything like that. People come here when they know exactly what they need for their specific building projects. We mostly deal with the bulk orders, but we talk to anyone who stops by. The staff here is small, just a couple of us who know the inventory inside out. We don't use any fancy computer systems for every little thing; sometimes an old notebook and a pen works just as well for us. It gets pretty hot in the summer months inside the warehouse, but that’s just part of the job. We like being in the Udhampur Industrial Area because it makes deliveries easier for the big transport trucks. If you are looking for Plot No.66, it’s down one of the side lanes off the main strip. We don't have a big neon sign, just a simple board. We’ve been doing this for years and we know most of the regulars who come through these gates. It is just us.
