The Thakur Classes

People always ask how to find us here at The Thakur Classes. We are set up on Bareilly Road in Haldwani, right there in the Pragati Vihar area. Most folks know the spot as the Old IIT location. If you are coming down National Highway 87, you just keep an eye out for the Toyota Commercial building and the Axis Bank. We are tucked in right near them. It gets pretty busy on this road during the day with all the cars and people moving toward the city center. Our building isn't anything fancy, just a regular place where we get the work done. I usually start the day early before the traffic really kicks in. You can see the sign from the main road if you aren't driving too fast. The area has changed a bit over the years with new shops popping up, but we’ve stayed right here. Sometimes the dust from the highway gets into the front rooms, but that is just part of being on a main route like this. It is convenient for students because the buses drop off nearby. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. Just some desks, chairs, and enough light to see what we are doing. If you hit the bank, you basically found us. It’s a straightforward walk from the bus stop. We try to keep things quiet inside so everyone can concentrate, even though the highway stays loud most of the afternoon.
