Shiv Shakti Iron & Steel

Our business, Shiv Shakti Iron & Steel, is situated in Kolayalpur. We are right on the corner where Kaladhungi Road and Nawabi Road meet, very close to the Block Office in Haldwani. It’s a heavy business. We deal with iron rods, steel sheets, and all those materials people need for building houses or sheds. The yard is always full of metal, so it’s pretty noisy when the trucks are loading and unloading. There’s usually a lot of rust on our hands by the end of the day. We don’t have a polished showroom. It’s just a yard and a small cabin where we sit and talk to the builders. People come to us because they need solid materials for their construction projects. We’ve been here in Haldwani for a while, and we know how the local building scene works. Sometimes the prices of steel go up and down, and we have to explain that to our customers. It’s not always easy, but we try to be straightforward. When the weather is hot, the metal gets untouchable, and when it rains, we have to cover everything up. It’s just the nature of the job. We aren't doing anything special, just supplying the raw materials that hold buildings together. Most of our days are spent weighing metal and keeping track of the inventory.
