Rawat Homoeopathic Clinic & Research Center

Our clinic is out on Kiccha Road. It’s a bit of a drive for some, but Rawat Homoeopathic Clinic & Research Center has been here for a good while. The research center part of the name makes it sound big, but it’s really just a couple of rooms where we keep a lot of books and records of the people we’ve helped. The shelves are full of little glass bottles and files that have been sorted over the years. We spend a lot of time talking to people who come in. They tell us about their aches and pains or how they haven't been sleeping well. It’s a slow process compared to other places. We sit at the wooden desks and write down notes by hand. The air in the clinic usually smells a bit like the medicines we keep. Outside, Kiccha Road can get dusty when the trucks go past, so we keep the doors shut mostly. There is a small bench for people to sit on while they wait for their turn. We don't have a TV or anything like that in the lobby, so people usually just chat or look out the window. It’s a quiet life here. We open up in the morning and stay until the last person is seen. It’s not a shiny medical building, just a practical space where we focus on homeopathy. We like it this way because it feels more personal for the locals.
