Prabhat General Store

You can find Prabhat General Store over in Izzatnagar, right near the Anil Shahid Gate in Defence Colony. We are on the Nanital Road side, which stays pretty busy most of the time. This shop has been part of my life for a long time. We mostly serve the families living in the colony and the people passing through on the main road. It’s a standard general store. We have shelves filled with everyday items like shampoos, soaps, notebooks for kids, and all kinds of groceries. It gets really busy during the first week of the month when everyone gets their salaries and comes to stock up their kitchens. Sometimes it’s a bit chaotic with everyone asking for things at once, but we get through it. My family helps out when they can. We don't have a lot of space, so we try to keep the most important stuff at the front where people can see it. The location near the gate makes it easy for people to find us. I spend a lot of time talking to the delivery guys and making sure we have enough stock of the basics like atta and oil. It’s not a glamorous job, but it is honest work. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but the shop stays pretty much the same. We just keep serving whoever walks through the door.
