Narayan Hospital & Trauma Centre

We are set up on Bilaspur Road, right near the Arch Hotel. If you’re driving down that way, you can’t really miss us. It’s a spot where a lot of travelers and locals end up if something goes wrong on the road. Because we’re a trauma centre, things can get loud and fast-paced without much warning. It’s not a quiet place. There is usually an ambulance or two parked out front. We deal with accidents and sudden illnesses mostly. The staff is used to the rush. Inside, it’s all about getting things done. We don't have fancy decorations on the walls or soft music playing. The clock in the lobby is five minutes fast, and we’ve never bothered to fix it because it actually helps keep people on time. Being so close to the Arch Hotel means we get a lot of random people asking for directions as much as medical help. We don't mind. The tea stall right outside the gate is where most of the staff goes for a break. Bilaspur Road is never quiet, not even at three in the morning. Our trauma unit is small but we have what we need for the initial care. Sometimes we have to send people further down the road if it’s really serious, but we do the heavy lifting first. The benches in the hall are made of wood and aren't the most comfortable for long waits, but they hold up.
