Diamond Hardware Store

Our store is located on Atariya Road, right across from the Police Colony in Rudrapur. If you know the Avas Vikas area, we’re at MIG-403. It’s a busy stretch of road, and there’s always a lot of dust and movement outside from the traffic. Inside Diamond Hardware Store, things are a bit cramped because we try to keep everything anyone might need on the shelves. You’ll see boxes of nails, different sized pipes, and tools stacked up nearly to the ceiling. It’s not the most organized looking place, but we usually know where everything is if you give us a minute to look. My father started this and I just kind of stayed on to help run it. We open up early because that’s when the workers and builders usually stop by to grab things before they head to their job sites. The afternoons can be a bit slower when the sun is high, so that’s when we try to count the stock or clean up the counter. We don't have any big advertisements or a website that works right. People just know we’re here because they see the sign when they drive toward the colony. It’s honest work, selling bits and pieces of metal and plastic to help folks fix their houses. We don’t try to act like a big chain store. We’re just a hardware shop on a busy street trying to keep the inventory moving. It is a simple life and it keeps us busy enough to stay out of trouble.
