Our place is on Manpur Road in Kashipur. It’s up in the U.S.N district of Uttaranchal, or Uttarakhand as most call it now. Daifuku India Pvt Ltd operates out of this spot. It’s a bit of a different vibe here compared to the big metro areas. The weather can get quite cold in the winter months, and we all huddle up. Manpur Road is a main stretch for us. We’ve got the 244713 pin code. It’s not a fancy glass tower. It’s a functional building where we get together to do our jobs. Most of us live nearby, so the commute isn't too bad unless the rain is heavy. We don't have a big marketing team writing stuff for us. We just wanted to let people know where we are. The building is simple and serves its purpose. We have our routines, like the morning tea and checking the mail. Sometimes the local monkeys cause a bit of trouble on the roof, but we’re used to that by now. It’s a peaceful enough area for work. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a shiny lobby. We just care about getting the day's work finished. It's a plain, honest workspace. We’ve been here long enough that the walls feel familiar. It is just how things are at our Kashipur branch. We just keep moving forward with what needs to be done. It’s a quiet life but we stay busy with our work.
