Shobha Hospital

Shobha Hospital is right in the Nagar Parishad Complex on Bazar Road here in Gevrai. Being on Bazar Road means there is never a quiet moment. You can hear the vegetable sellers and the bikes outside all day long. The hospital isn't one of those massive glass buildings you see in big cities. It's a functional place where we take care of the local community. We have different rooms for patients, and the hallway is usually busy with families coming and going. The floors are cleaned all the time, but the dust from the road always finds its way back in. We’ve got some basic equipment and a staff that has been here for years. We know the local shopkeepers and the families from the nearby villages who come into Gevrai for the market. It gets very busy on market days especially. People come in for all sorts of things, and we do our best to help them out without any fuss. The waiting area is just some simple benches, and we have a small desk where we handle the registrations. It’s a bit cramped when it's full, but it works. We aren't trying to be anything more than a reliable place for people to come when they don’t feel well. It’s just honest work in a busy part of town. Everyone here knows each other and that makes the long days go by a lot faster.
