Dalmia Cement

We are set up at 150, Koovathur North, in the Kallathur area. It’s a bit out of the way for some, but it suits us just fine. Dalmia Cement has a presence here that is mostly about the daily grind and getting things out to where they need to go. The scenery around Kallathur is mostly open, and you get a good breeze coming through when the doors are open. We spend most of our time out in the yard or at the main desk at number 150. It’s a practical setup with plenty of room for the trucks to turn around. The guys who work here have been doing this for a long time, so they know the routine by heart. We don’t really go in for big advertisements or loud signs. Most people find us because they know where Koovathur North is. The days can be long, especially when we have a lot of loads to move, but we just take it one step at a time. The office is a bit old-fashioned, with heavy wooden desks and some old filing cabinets that squeak when you open them. It feels like a real place of work, not some shiny corporate office. We just do our thing here in Kallathur and don't worry too much about the rest. It’s about the bags of cement and the people who need them. We finish up late most days but that is part of the life here.
