Master Darzi Tailoring Services (Opc) Private Limited started because there weren't many places around here to get clothes fixed right. We are over at House No-43, Katariya Niwas in Bhurara. If you know the Udham Singh Nagar area in Rudrapur, you probably know our street. It’s a regular house where we set up our machines and tables. I’ve been sewing for a long time and decided to make it official with this name. We don't have a big fancy storefront with lights or anything like that. It is just a workspace where we focus on the thread and needles. Sometimes it gets a bit messy with all the fabric scraps on the floor, but that is just how it goes when you are working hard. Neighbors drop by to chat or leave their trousers for hemming. We try to get things done when we say we will, though sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait. That’s just life in Uttarakhand. We aren't trying to be some big global brand. We just want to make sure the people in Bhurara have a place to go when their shirt tears or they need a new suit for a wedding. It is practical work. We use the space at Katariya Niwas to keep everything organized. If you are looking for us, just head towards the VPO office area and ask around. Most people know where House 43 is.
