We started Mahi Habitat Developers a while back. We're over here at House Number 172 in Rajpur, Udham Singh Nagar. It’s a quiet spot, and most people around here just know us by the sign out front. Developing land and houses is what we do every day. It's busy work, honestly. We spend a lot of time out at sites or sitting in the office dealing with paperwork that seems to never end. Being in Uttarakhand, you get used to the pace of things. Sometimes the weather slows us down, but we just keep at it. People come by the office to ask about plots or how the construction is going. We don’t have a fancy lobby or anything like that. Just some desks and a lot of maps on the wall. It’s a small team, so if you call, you’re usually talking to one of the three people who actually handle the builds. We try to be clear about what’s happening with the projects because nobody likes surprises when they're putting money into a home. It’s just us working hard in Rajpur. We've seen the neighborhood change quite a bit since we set up shop here. Some days are long, especially when the supplies are late or the rain won't stop, but that’s just how it goes in this business. We're just local folks trying to build decent places for people to live in Udham Singh Nagar. We aren't perfect, but we do the job right.
