Kundan'S Kaleva Private Limited is located at 1392, 228/77 Tufail Ka Bagh in the Katoratal area of Kashipur. We are right here in the Udham Singh Nagar district of Uttarakhand. Our place is basically a kitchen where we make snacks and sweets all day long. It gets very hot in the back during the summer months because of the stoves, but we are used to it by now. The name Kaleva is something we picked because it reminds us of traditional food, the kind you have for breakfast or snacks. We aren't a giant factory with robots. Most of the work is done by hand, from mixing the dough to frying things up. The address in Katoratal is where everything happens, from the raw ingredients coming in to the finished boxes going out. Sometimes the narrow streets make it hard for the delivery trucks to get in, so we have to move things by hand. It is a bit of a struggle daily, but we manage. People in Kashipur know us as a local business. We have a few staff members who have been with us since we opened. We don't spend money on fancy signs or decorations. We just focus on the food we are making every morning. It’s a plain, honest shop and we like it that way. Most of our neighbors drop by to say hello while we are working.
