Intileo Welfare Foundation

You can find us over in Bigrabag, which is a village and post office area in Khatima. We are part of the Udham Singh Nagar district. The Intileo Welfare Foundation is really just a local effort started right here in the village. It is not a corporate setup with a lot of hierarchy. We mostly operate out of a small space near the post office. It makes it easy for us to send and receive mail, which is a big part of how we stay in touch with people. Khatima is a place where everyone knows their neighbors, and that’s how we like to run things. We don’t use a lot of big words or have complicated meetings. We just look at what needs to be done in Bigrabag and try to help out. The roads are a bit dusty and the summers can be very hot, but we’ve lived here all our lives, so we don’t mind. Our office is a simple one, with just the basics to keep us going. We aren’t looking to expand into some giant city office. We are happy being right here where our roots are. When the harvest season comes, things get a bit busy in the village, but we keep our doors open for whoever needs to stop by. It’s a quiet life, mostly, but we feel like we are doing something useful for our own community in this part of Uttarakhand.
