We are over here in Amjuli, working out of the Jwnglary tea firm office. Most days start early because the tea doesn't wait for anyone. Being in Udalguri, specifically the Harisingha area, means we are right in the middle of where things happen for our crop. It is a lot of paperwork and managing the rows of plants. Our address says Udalguri-Darrang, and that is exactly where you will find us if you come looking. The building itself is just a practical space where we keep our records and plan the next harvest. People around here know the spot. We spend a lot of time checking on the leaves and making sure the transport is ready when the season hits. It is not fancy work, but it keeps us busy year-round. Sometimes the rain makes the roads a bit difficult around Amjuli, but we manage to keep the office running. We have been part of this local landscape for a while now. The tea industry in this part of Assam has its own rhythm. We just stick to our daily tasks and try to keep everything organized. It is mostly about getting the work done and making sure the tea gets where it needs to go. There is always something to fix or a new batch to look at.
