Jrk Tea Co Llp is based out in Udalguri, specifically on the BTAD TB Road. We are situated right across from the Bishnu Mandir. Being near the temple means we hear the bells and the prayers every day, which is actually quite nice when things get stressful. Tangla is a decent place to be for a tea business, though the roads can get a bit rough when the rains start in Darrang. We deal with tea every single day, so the smell of the leaves is always sticking to our clothes. It is a manual sort of job. We spend our time checking the sacks and making sure the tea is stored properly. Our office isn't anything special. It’s just a room with some old desks and a lot of tea samples scattered around. We don’t have any big corporate goals or anything like that. We just focus on the tea that comes in and the tea that goes out. Sometimes the TB Road gets really dusty during the dry season, and we have to keep everything closed up tight. People in 784521 know us as the tea guys near the mandir. It is a simple life and we are just local people doing what we know. The work is steady and we have our own way of doing things without any fuss. It’s just us, the tea, and the sound of the temple next door.
