Youth Arch

Youth Arch is over on University Road at G-8. It’s a small office but we keep it pretty lively. Being near the university means there’s always something going on outside. We do a lot of design work here, mostly for local folks who need a bit of help figuring out their space. The name sounds a bit different, but we’re just regular people working on buildings. Our desks are usually piled high with folders and drawings. We don’t spend much on decorating the place because we’re usually too busy with the actual work. It’s a simple setup. If you walk in, you’ll probably hear someone arguing with a computer or a phone ringing. That’s just part of it. We like being on University Road. It’s convenient for us and for people trying to find us. We don’t go for the high-pressure sales stuff. If someone needs a plan, we sit down and draw it. Sometimes we go through five versions before it’s right. That’s just the way it goes. We’ve been in G-8 for a while now and we know the neighborhood like the back of our hand. It’s a decent place to work. We just focus on getting the lines straight and the measurements right. Nothing too complicated beyond that. It’s just us doing what we do every day without making a big fuss about the whole process.
