Vinayak Plylam

Vinayak Plylam is located over in Pratap Nagar, right there in A-Block at number 40. We deal mostly in plywood and laminates, things people need when they’re putting together a kitchen or fixing up a bedroom. The shop is filled with the smell of wood and glue, which I’ve gotten used to over the years. It’s a practical business. We aren't trying to be some high-end design studio. We just provide the materials that make a house feel like a home. People come in with their measurements, and we help them pick out what fits their budget. It's not always easy because there are so many patterns and thicknesses to choose from. Sometimes the warehouse gets a bit disorganized when a big shipment comes in, but we get it sorted eventually. We’ve been in this spot for a while, and the neighbors know us. We don't do much in the way of big ads. Usually, it's just someone telling their cousin to come see us for their renovation. We like the local feel of A-Block. It's a good place to work. Every day is a bit different, depending on who walks through the door. One day it's a contractor buying in bulk, the next it's someone trying to fix a single cabinet. We treat them all about the same. It’s just how we run things here. No big corporate rules, just a normal shop doing its thing.
