Vedanta Aluminium Limited

Our little office is over on Bohra Ganesh Road in Udaipur. We are specifically at 16 Kha in Ganpati Nagar. We have been operating out of this particular spot for a long time now. Since we are in the aluminum business, there is always something happening with shipments and different types of metals. The office isn't very big, but it’s enough for what we need to do each day. We are located fairly close to the temple, so it’s actually a nice part of town to be in. Most of us in the office have been working together for several years now. We handle a lot of the local logistics and coordination for the company. It isn't always the easiest work in the world. There is a lot of back-and-forth involved with the transport guys. You might see us loading up files or just sitting at the computers checking on manifests. Udaipur is a beautiful city, but the narrow roads can make things a bit tricky sometimes. We know most of the people who live and work around here. It’s a standard day-to-day operation for us. We just show up in the morning, do the tasks, and head home. The heat in Rajasthan can really get to you in the afternoons, but we just deal with it. We often grab tea from the stall around the corner when we need a break. The office is full of metal samples and piles of documents. It’s a practical setup.
