Tharkisani Foundation

Tharkisani Foundation is based in Bhairav Colony, over in the Todip.O- Gudha Gorji area of Tehsil-Udaipurwat. We are located at Hajari Lal’s place. It’s a local spot, nothing fancy or hidden away. We’ve lived in this region for a long time, so we know the people and the land pretty well. Our office is just a room where we keep our papers and meet up to talk. We don't have a big staff or a lot of equipment. It’s mostly just us and our ideas. We started this because we saw things that could be better around here. We don't have a marketing budget or anyone to write pretty speeches for us. We just speak plainly about what we are doing. The weather gets quite hot here, and sometimes the dust from the road comes inside, but we don't mind much. It’s just how it is. We spend our days trying to stay organized and making sure we are following through on what we said we would do. People from the colony stop by once in a while to see how things are going. We always have time for a quick chat. It’s a very grounded way to work. We aren't looking to expand into some giant organization. We just want to do right by our neighbors and our town. It takes a lot of patience to keep things running, but we are used to that. We show up every day and get the work finished.
