Surya Tour Travels

We are based at 18119 Ashapura Colony, which is right opposite the M.S.W. College on Airport Road in Udaipur. Living and working in Udaipur means we see a lot of people coming and going. Surya Tour Travels is basically run from this spot where we keep our logs and take calls for car bookings. The Airport Road is always busy, especially when the flights are landing, so we have to be ready at all hours. Our office isn't anything special, just some chairs and a map on the wall to help plan out the routes. We spend a lot of time talking to drivers and making sure the vehicles are clean and have enough petrol for the next trip. Sometimes the tourists have a lot of questions about the lakes or the palaces, and we just tell them what we know from living here. It gets a bit chaotic during the wedding season because everyone wants a car at the same time. We don't have a big corporate team; it’s just a few of us making sure people get where they need to go. Ashapura Colony is a nice enough area, and being near the college means there is always some activity nearby. We just try to keep the cars running and the schedules on time as best as we can. It's mostly about answering the phone and checking the calendar for the next day's bookings.
