Star Hospital & Research Centre

You can find Star Hospital & Research Centre at No. 80 Adinath Nagar. We are right on Seva Mandir Road in Fatehpura. It’s a bit of a winding way to get here if you aren't from this side of town. The building is a solid block, and we have the research side of things tucked away in the back rooms. It’s usually full of papers and old books back there. The main part of the hospital is where the action is. We have a lot of people coming in from all over Fatehpura. The ceiling fans hum all day long to keep the air moving. Sometimes they make a clicking sound that we’ve just learned to ignore. We have a small desk at the front where someone sits to take names. The pen is usually tied to the counter with a piece of string so it doesn't walk away. Outside on Seva Mandir Road, you can hear the bells from the cycles and the occasional cow wandering by. It’s a typical neighborhood scene. We have a small courtyard where some of the staff eat lunch when it’s not too hot. The stairs are a bit narrow, so you have to be careful if you’re carrying anything heavy. It’s not a shiny place with glass walls. It’s just a regular building where we do our work every day. We’ve got a routine that seems to work for everyone. Most of our staff have been around since the place started.
