Our office is tucked away in Pushpa Sadan, which is a house in the Panerion Ki Madri area of Udaipur. Working out of House Number 27/ 349 feels a bit different than being in a big glass building, but it works for what we do at Sparta Cements And Chemicals Ltd. It’s a quiet enough spot, though the street gets busy around lunch. We’ve been focusing on both the cement side of things and the chemicals for some time now. Most of our day is spent on the phone or looking over orders that come in from around the region. Udaipur is a beautiful place to live, but the work we do is pretty grounded and gritty. We don’t go in for big speeches or fancy logos. Usually, it’s just about making sure the supply is steady and the bills get paid on time. Sometimes the neighbors pop by just to say hello, which is the nice thing about being in a residential part of town. We keep our files organized in the back room and try to stay on top of the chemical side, which can get complicated with all the different types of products we handle. It's a small team, and we all know each other's habits. We just show up every morning, drink our tea, and get to the tasks at hand without making a big deal out of it.
