You can find us at number 8 on College Road in the Sikh Colony area. It’s a nice part of town with a lot of people walking by. Our shop is full of bathroom stuff like commodes, washbasins, and all those small chrome fittings that go on the walls. It’s a bit cramped inside because we try to fit a lot of options on the shelves. We’ve got rows of taps and shower heads hanging up. Most people who come in are just local families living nearby who have a leak or want to refresh their guest bathroom. We spend a lot of time explaining how the different valves work. It’s not a fancy place with bright lights, just a regular mart. The Sikh Colony is a quiet enough place most of the time. We have a lot of plastic piping stacked in the back that always seems to fall over if you breathe on it wrong. My cousin helps me out on the weekends when it gets busy. We don't bother with fancy displays. If you want to see a tap, I just take it out of the box and show it to you. It's how we've always done it. We’ve seen the price of copper and plastic go up and down so many times. We keep a ledger for all the sales and try to remember what our regular customers usually need for their houses.
