Shri Nath Hospital And Res. Center

Living and working in Udaipur is something else. Our hospital and residential center is tucked away in Fathepuram. It is a bit of a walk from the main Ho area, but most people know the way. We have been here at Shri Nath Hospital for a good while now. The building has these tall windows that let in a lot of light, though we have to clean them often because of the dust from the road. At the hospital, things are always moving. Nurses are walking back and forth, and there is usually a smell of cleaning fluid in the halls. Since it’s also a residential center, some of us actually stay nearby or right on site. It makes the nights a bit quieter but also busy if someone knocks on the door at 2 AM. Udaipur gets hot, so the air conditioning units are always humming in the background. We have a small courtyard where some of the staff sit during their break to eat lunch. It’s mostly just dal and roti brought from home. We don’t have any big signs or bright lights, just the name on the front. People from the local Fathepuram area come to us when they have trouble. We handle everything from basic checkups to more serious things that require a stay. It’s a lot of paperwork, honestly. My desk is always covered in folders and pens that don't always work. We just keep going.
