You’ll find Bags Creator at 149 Kheradi Wada Ka Chowk, right on Shree Nath Marg. It’s a busy part of town with a lot of history in the streets. We work in a space that’s mostly taken up by rolls of canvas, leather, and zippers. There isn't much room for much else. We spend our time cutting materials and sitting at the heavy-duty sewing machines. It’s noisy and there’s always thread on the floor. We’ve been making bags here for a good while. We don’t have a glossy catalog or a marketing department. If someone needs a bag, we show them what we’re working on or what’s already finished on the shelves. It’s a very hands-on process. From the straps to the linings, we do it all right here in the workshop. Shree Nath Marg is a lively place to be, and we like the energy of the chowk. We aren't trying to compete with the big fashion houses. We just make sturdy bags that people can actually use for their daily lives. Sometimes the power goes out or a machine jams, and we just deal with it and keep going. It’s a simple life of making things by hand. We just focus on the stitch and the material and get things done.
