Shree Nakoda Marble

If you head down University Road toward Kushal Bagh, you’ll find Shree Nakoda Marble at number 12. We’ve been at this spot for quite some time now. Dealing with marble is a heavy business, so our place is mostly filled with large stones and slabs. It’s not the cleanest environment because there is always a bit of dust from the stone, but we don't mind it much. We spend most of the day walking around the yard, showing people what we have available. We don't have a fancy showroom with lights and mirrors. We just have the stone sitting there in the sun so you can see what it actually looks like. Sometimes the weather is a bit rough, but we’re out there anyway. It’s just how the job is. We aren't big on formal meetings or long-winded talk. We just tell you what we have and what it costs. It’s a very practical way of doing things. The location on University Road is good because people can find us easily enough, though the traffic can be a headache during rush hour. We’ve got a small crew of guys who do the heavy lifting and keep things organized. It’s a lot of manual labor, but we’re used to it. We take pride in just being a regular, honest business that shows up every morning. If you need some stone, we’re usually here from early on, just getting things ready.
