Shree Banarsi Marble Pvt Ltd is located out at Sukher Udyog Vihar, specifically at Plot Sp 2. Being out in an industrial area like this means we have plenty of room for all the stone. Marble is heavy stuff and it takes up a lot of space, so this spot works well for us. We spend most of our time out in the yard or in the main shed where the slabs are kept. It gets pretty dusty, especially when the wind picks up, but that’s just the nature of working with stone. We aren't the type of people to wear suits or sit in air-conditioned offices all day. Most of the time, our boots are covered in white dust and we’re busy checking the quality of the latest shipment. It’s a straightforward business. People come by to see what we have in stock and we show them around the rows of slabs. We don't use any fancy sales tactics, we just let the stone speak for itself. It’s been our life for a long time now. The sun can be hot out here in Sukher, but we’re used to it. We just keep our heads down and keep the inventory moving. It’s a practical way to spend the day, and we like being part of the local industry here. There’s always something to be moved or organized around the plot, so we never really run out of things to do.
