Shahi Green Exports

Shahi Green Exports is tucked in near Sheetal Marble along the N.H. 8 in Amberi. It’s a busy road with a lot of heavy traffic passing by all day and night. We deal with a lot of green stone here. It’s got a specific look that people seem to want for their floors or walls. The yard is usually full of wooden crates ready to be sent off somewhere else. It’s a lot of loading and unloading by hand. We don't have many decorations in the office, just a few calendars and some old photos of the yard from years ago. The sun hits the yard hard in the afternoon. We try to keep the slabs covered with tarps when we can. Working with exports means there's a lot of papers to sign and details to check. We aren't a big corporation, just a bunch of people who know how to handle heavy stone without breaking it. The trucks come in at all hours. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish a load for a driver who is in a hurry. It’s just how the work goes. The ground is always covered in small stone chips. You get used to the noise of the highway after a while. We’ve been in Amberi long enough that the local tea stall knows exactly what we want. There is always a layer of dust on the windows, but we don't bother cleaning them too often. We just focus on packing the crates tight so nothing moves.
