Sahi Rahe Foundation

We are based at House No - 4, which is known as Roshan Ji Ki Bari. It’s also called the Luxmanram Magari Wala Ghar in the Savina area. It is a bit of an old-fashioned way to describe a location but that is how everyone around here knows it. The house has been there for a long time. Savina is a busy part of town so there is always something going on outside our gate. Sahi Rahe Foundation is run from inside this house. It doesn't look like a typical business building from the outside. We have a couple of rooms set up for our work. It feels very grounded being in a residential house like this. You can hear the sounds of the neighborhood all day. Children playing or people walking to the market. We don't have fancy office chairs or big signs everywhere. It is just a practical space where we can sit and talk. Sometimes the traffic in Savina gets backed up so we tell people to come early. We’ve put a lot of time into making the inside comfortable for us to work in. It is not about looking big or important to us. We just want to do our job. Being at Magari Wala Ghar keeps us close to the people we see every day. It’s a very local feel and we wouldn't really want it any other way. We try to keep things honest and just do what needs doing every afternoon.
