We've been at 3 Hiran Magri in Azad Nagar for quite a while now. If you're looking for us, we're right behind Nehru Hostel. The building isn't much to look at, but it's where we keep all the powders and oils. It’s usually pretty quiet around here in the mornings until the students start moving about. We deal with traditional Ayurvedic things, mostly herbs and prepared mixtures. A lot of folks from around Udaipur come by because they know where we are. Sometimes the shop gets a bit dusty from the road, but that's just how it is in this part of town. My uncle started this place because he knew a lot about roots and natural stuff. We don't have fancy displays or anything. It's just shelves full of bottles and packets. People come in with different issues and we try to find what fits. It’s a small space, so it can get crowded if three people walk in at once. We usually have the tea kettle going in the back. It’s not a big corporate pharmacy, just a local spot. Sometimes the delivery guys struggle to find the back of the hostel, so we have to go out and wave them down. Life goes on here at a steady pace. We open up early and stay until the evening lights come on in Azad Nagar. It is home for us.
