Rasyaji & Sons

You can find us at Hathipole Loha Bazar, right at Chamanpura 153. This place has been around for a while, and it definitely looks like it. Rasyaji & Sons is a bit of a maze if you aren't used to it. We have all sorts of hardware, metal parts, and tools tucked away in every corner. My father and brothers are usually around, arguing about where we put a certain box of bolts or who forgot to write down a sale. It is a family thing, so it gets loud sometimes but we get through the day. The building is old and the stairs creak every time someone walks up to the storage area. Customers come in looking for specific parts for old machines or just some basic stuff for their homes. We don't use any fancy computer systems for everything; a lot of it is still written down in big ledgers that sit on the main counter. Hathipole is a crazy place to work because the traffic never stops and there’s always someone shouting outside. We just sit on our stools and wait for the next person to walk in. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to use flashlights to find what people need in the back rooms. It’s just how we do things here. We don't plan on changing much because this way of working has worked for us for years.
