Prans Media Institute

Down on Sewa Mandir Road at number 17 C in Old Fatehpura, you’ll find us at Prans Media Institute. It’s an old part of town, which we actually quite like. The building has a bit of character, even if the stairs are a little steep. We spend our days teaching and working with cameras, computers, and all sorts of media gear. It’s usually pretty loud with people talking over projects or editing videos. We don't have a giant campus, just a few well-used rooms where everyone gathers. The equipment gets a lot of wear and tear, so we’re often fixing cables or updating software when things go wrong. It’s not a polished environment by any means. There’s usually some half-empty cups of tea sitting around and stacks of hard drives on the desks. We focus on the practical side of things because that’s what people actually need to know. The local area has some good spots to grab a snack, which is where we usually end up during our breaks. We’ve been in Old Fatehpura for a while now, and the locals know us as the media folks. It’s a busy atmosphere most of the time, especially when deadlines are approaching. We don't go in for big marketing speeches. We just show up, do the work, and help the students figure out how to use the tools. It's a simple, hardworking setup at 17 C.
