I have my office at number 49 inside the Court Campus near Court Chauraha. It’s a busy intersection, so there’s always noise from the rickshaws and people talking. I’ve been in this specific spot for a good while. The office is small and filled with books and files that I’ve collected over the years. I don’t really go in for modern decor; it’s just a place to sit and get through the paperwork. Most of the people who come by are there for court matters. I handle the documents and the filing that needs to get done. It’s not a fast-paced corporate office. Things move at their own speed here. I usually have a cup of tea on the desk and a stack of folders waiting for me. I’ve seen the campus change a bit, but my corner stays mostly the same. I don’t use a lot of fancy technology. A pen and paper often work better for what I do. If you’re at Court Chauraha, just head into the campus and look for number 49. It’s a simple door, nothing special to look at. I try to be honest about how long things will take. Sometimes the court is slow, and there’s nothing I can do about that. I just keep working until the light fades. It’s a quiet life in a loud place, and it works for me just fine.
