If you look for us in Fatehpura Panei Opwan, we are right near Syphon Chouraha at number 12. It’s a lively spot and there’s always something going on outside the window. The office is basically a few rooms where we keep all our drafting tools and samples of tiles or wood. It isn't a showroom, so things are a bit dusty sometimes. We spend our days mostly drawing up plans and trying to figure out how to make things fit in tight spaces. Sometimes we have clients come over and we just sit around the big table in the back to talk. We don't use a lot of big words or try to impress anyone with fancy presentations. We just show the drawings and explain how the building will stand up. The traffic at the chouraha can be a headache during rush hour, but it makes the place feel alive. We’ve got a small kettle for making tea and that's about as fancy as it gets for our kitchen. Working here feels very connected to the street. You can hear the vendors and the cars all day long. We try to keep our hours regular but often stay late when a deadline is coming up. It’s just us doing our thing in this corner of the city, trying to make sure every project we take on is handled properly.
