You’ll find our office at 26 Dewali Vidhya Marg. We aren't in the office much because most of the work happens out at the building sites. We do construction work, mostly small houses or renovations around this part of the city. We have a table covered in blueprints and some samples of bricks and tiles sitting in the corner. It’s a bit of a dusty office because someone is always coming in with mud on their boots from a site. We’ve been doing this for a while now, starting out with just small repair jobs. Now we handle bigger projects but it’s still the same basic thing—putting one brick on top of another. We don’t use any fancy talk about architecture. We just build things that stay up and keep the rain out. The team is mostly local guys we’ve known for years. Dewali Vidhya Marg is a decent area and it’s easy for our clients to come find us to talk about their plans. We usually sit around with a cup of tea and look over the drawings. It takes a long time to finish a building, so we get to know people pretty well. We have a small motorbike parked out front most of the time that we use to get between the different sites. It’s a steady business. We don't have a big sign outside, just the number on the gate. It feels good to see a project finally done and families moving in.
