Jai Shree Krishna

Jai Shree Krishna is our little place at No. 13 Naiyon Ki Talai. It’s a quiet spot most of the time. We’ve been here for years and the neighbors are like family. We started this because we wanted to work for ourselves. The shop is small and we keep it as tidy as we can. There’s a lot of history in this part of town. We see the same faces every morning. We don't have a big sign or anything. People just know where Jai Shree Krishna is. We handle a variety of things depending on what people need. We don't use a lot of technology. Just a notebook and some pens. It works for us. Sometimes we sit outside when it’s nice. We don’t try to be something we’re not. We are just local people running a local shop. If someone has a problem, they come talk to us and we figure it out. No big meetings or corporate talk. The walls have some cracks and the floor is worn down from people walking in. It feels like home to us. We’re open most days from morning until the sun goes down. If you’re at Naiyon Ki Talai, just look for number thirteen. We’ll be there. It’s a simple way of life, but we wouldn’t change it for anything. It works for us.
