Naman Medical & Cosmetic

Our shop is Shop No 1, located in Sutharwada, Ayad Udaipur. We are right there in the Gokulpura area. It’s a small shop, but we pack a lot into it. We’ve got shelves full of medicines on one side and all the cosmetic stuff on the other. It’s a bit cramped when more than two people come in at once, but we make it work. Most of our customers are locals who live just a few streets away. They come in for their regular prescriptions or maybe just a bar of soap or some shampoo. We know most of them by name. Naman Medical & Cosmetic isn't like those big chain pharmacies. We still write things down in a notebook sometimes. The lighting inside is a bit bright, but it helps us read the labels on the small bottles. Ayad is a busy part of Udaipur, and Sutharwada has a lot of foot traffic. We usually have the radio playing quietly in the background. Sometimes we run out of things and have to wait for the distributor to show up, which can be annoying for the customers, but most people understand how it is. We try to keep the glass counters clean, though fingerprints always seem to appear. It’s just me and maybe one other person helping out. We don't have a website or any of that. We just stay here from morning until late evening, making sure people get what they need.
