Nakoda Telecom Pvt. Ltd. is located right at 20, Under Sevasharm Bridge in Udaipur. Being right near the bridge means we have a lot of shadow and a lot of noise from the vehicles passing overhead all day. The Udaipur Gas Service is just nearby, so that is how most people find our entrance. It is a dusty spot because of all the traffic and the construction that seems to happen around here constantly. Inside the office, things are pretty basic. We have shelves lined with telecom parts and some old ledgers. It is a bit cramped, especially when we have a lot of stock coming in at once. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. People just walk in and we talk to them over the counter or at our desks. The heat in Udaipur can be pretty intense in the summer months, so we usually have the cooler running full blast. We spend most of our time coordinating with technicians or checking on orders. It is a lot of phone work and writing things down on pads of paper. We have been in this location for quite a while, so we know all the neighbors and the local tea sellers. It’s a regular shop where we just do our daily work without much fuss. We don't really have a big staff, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything to keep things moving and things stay organized.
