Nakoda Marble

Down on Bedla Road, that’s where Nakoda Marble is set up. We're part of the Faridabad scene, dealing with all sorts of marble for floors and counters. It’s a lot of lifting and moving heavy stuff around. The yard is usually white with marble dust, and you can hear the saws humming from down the street. We’ve been at this for a while, just trying to provide a solid product to the folks around here and further into Haryana. It’s not a glamorous life, standing out in the yard in the heat, but we take pride in what we do. People come to us when they want something that’s going to last. We show them the different slabs we have in stock. Sometimes we have a lot of one kind, and sometimes we’re waiting for a truck to arrive from the quarries. It’s a bit of a gamble with the weather sometimes, as the rain can slow things down in the yard. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. We just rely on the fact that we've been here for years and people know we're fair. It’s a family-run kind of vibe, even if we have a few extra hands helping out. We like seeing the finished product after someone installs the stone we sold them. It makes the long days in the dust feel like they were worth something. It’s just honest work for us.
