Nakoda Iron & Cement

We are located at 396 Hiran Magri Sector-4, tucked away in the lane by the Om Petrol Pump. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze for some of the bigger vehicles, but we make it work. Dealing with both iron and cement means we have to be careful about where we put things so nothing gets ruined by the weather. The iron rods are heavy and can be awkward to move around, so we spend a lot of time maneuvering them. You can usually hear the sound of metal clanking against metal coming from our yard throughout the day. The smell of petrol from the station next door is something we’ve just gotten used to over the years. Our office is just a small room with a fan that works most of the time. We write everything down in big registers and try to keep the piles of cement from getting too high. It’s a dirty job, and our clothes usually show it by the end of the shift. We don’t have a big sign or anything flashy, just the name on the wall. People find us because they know the lane well. We keep things simple and just focus on the task at hand, whether that’s counting inventory or helping someone load up their truck. It’s honest work and it keeps us on our feet. We just take each day as it comes.
