Nakoda Dahi Bhandar

We've been here on Hathipole Main Road for quite some time now. People know Nakoda Dahi Bhandar mostly because of where we sit right on the busy stretch. It gets loud outside with all the traffic passing by, but inside we just focus on the curd. Every morning starts the same way. We get the milk in, set the dahi, and wait for it to be ready for the neighborhood. It's not a fancy place at all. The floor is just stone and we have the usual counters you see everywhere. Sometimes the fans make a bit of noise when it's hot out. We see the same faces every day, mostly folks living nearby or people stopping their bikes on their way home from work. Dealing with dahi means your hands are always busy and things can get a bit messy with the water and the pots. We don't really do much else besides this. The shop isn't huge, but it fits what we need. Hathipole is always crowded, so there is never a quiet moment. We just keep the containers filled and serve whoever walks in. It's a simple life running a dairy spot like this. We don't have a big team, just a few of us making sure the stock doesn't run out before the evening rush. It’s just how things go here day after day.
