Mumal Marbales Ltd.

We are located out near Village Amberi, right along N. H. 8. It’s a good spot if you’re driving through that part of the country. Mumal Marbales has been sitting on this stretch of road for quite some time now. The dust from the highway gets everywhere, so we are always having to wipe off the stone slabs so people can see the colors. It’s mostly marble here, piled up in long rows. Some of it comes from nearby quarries and some from further away. Walking through the rows, you see all the different patterns in the rock. No two pieces ever look the same, which is just how nature works. The crew here is pretty small. We mostly just talk about the weather and how the shipments are moving. It gets very loud when the big trucks gear down right outside our gate. We spend a lot of time on our feet on the gravel. Sometimes the office gets a bit cramped when everyone is inside trying to avoid a rainstorm. We keep a handwritten ledger for most of our stuff. It's not a high-tech operation, just hands-on work. Most of us live nearby in the village, so the commute isn't bad at all. We just show up, move the stone, and head home. On slow days, we sit outside on some old crates and watch the traffic go by on the national highway. There is a lot of heavy lifting, so we’re tired by sunset.
