Modern Medical Agency is located right by Delhi Gate at Hummad House. If you know the area, you know how hectic it can get with the traffic and the noise from the gate. We’ve been in this building for quite some time now. We aren't a doctor’s office; we’re more of an agency that handles the distribution of medicines. That means our days are filled with checking invoices and hauling boxes around. Hummad House is an old building with a lot of character, even if the stairs are a bit steep. We have shelves reaching all the way to the ceiling, packed with different types of medicines and supplies. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes. We work with a lot of the local chemists and hospitals in the city. The phone rings almost constantly from morning until we close. It’s a fast-paced environment, but we’ve got a system that works. We drink a lot of coffee to keep going. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late because of the congestion at Delhi Gate, which can be frustrating. We don't have a fancy showroom because we don't really need one. It’s just a place where serious work gets done every day. We’re a small team but we handle a lot of volume. We focus on the boxes and the lists and getting things delivered.
