Our place is out on Saheliyon Ki Bari Badi Thur Road. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city center, which makes it a little quieter out here. At Mirraj Pipes & Fittings Pvt Ltd, we deal with a lot of heavy inventory. Moving pipes around is honest work, and it definitely keeps us tired. The yard is usually full of stacks of different sizes, and we spend a lot of time out in the sun loading trucks. It’s not the kind of job where you stay clean all day. We wear boots and rugged clothes because things get scraped and muddy, especially during the monsoon. The office part is small, just enough room for a desk and a couple of chairs for when people come to settle their bills. We keep a ledger of who bought what and when the next delivery is supposed to arrive. Sometimes the trucks get stuck in traffic on the way to Badi, and we end up staying late to wait for them. It’s just how it goes in this business. We don't have any big signs or bright lights. Most of our business comes from contractors and folks who know this road well. It’s a straightforward operation. We focus on getting the right fittings out the door without making a big fuss about it. The work is repetitive, but there is a certain rhythm to it that we appreciate. It is just how things are done here.
