You’ll find Mehta Enterprises out at Amberi on the NH-8. Being on the highway makes it easy for the bigger vehicles to reach us without getting stuck in city traffic. We’ve been operating from this location for several years. The building is a simple structure that serves as both a warehouse and a small office space. We mostly deal with various supplies that people in the trade need. It’s a bit dusty because of the road, and there’s always the sound of engines passing by. We keep the inventory stacked up high to make use of the space we have. There’s no big sign or flashing lights, just our name painted on the front. We spend our days checking what’s come in and what needs to go out. The guys who work here have been with us for a long time and they know where everything is kept. In the winter it stays fairly cool, but the summer heat is something else out here. We have a small wooden bench outside where we take our lunch breaks. It’s not a corporate office with fancy furniture. We have a simple desk, a landline phone, and a lot of paper ledgers. Most of our visitors are people who have been doing business with us for years and they know the routine. We just keep our heads down and do the work as it comes.
