Marble Center

Marble Center is located out on Amberi NH-8. Being right on the highway makes it easy for big trucks to come and go. We deal with marble all day long. It is heavy work. The slabs are sitting out there in the yard, and they take up a lot of space. We spend a lot of time moving them with the crane or just checking the patterns on the stone. It’s a bit noisy because of the traffic on NH-8. The dust from the stone gets on everything, but we are used to it by now. Most days, someone stops by because they saw the sign from the road. We show them what we have in stock. Some pieces are white, some have veins, and every block is different. It is interesting to see what comes in from the quarries. We don’t do much talking, mostly just showing the marble and loading it up. My hands are usually rough from handling the stone. We keep the place open for anyone looking for marble for their floors or counters. It is a simple setup here in Amberi. The sun gets quite hot in the yard during the summer months. We just keep working through it. It’s a local business and we know the area well. There isn't much more to it than that. Just slabs of stone and a lot of hard work every day. We just stay focused on the blocks we have and getting them loaded for the trucks that pull in.
