Maa Lakshmi General Store

Maa Lakshmi General Store is right on Sajjan Garh Road in the Sajjangarh area. It is a typical local shop where we keep all the things a family might need for their home. We have flour, rice, different kinds of dals, and all the usual household cleaners. The shop is right on the main road, so we get quite a bit of dust, and we have to clean the shelves pretty often. Most of the people who come here live in the apartments and houses nearby. They know us by name, and we know what they usually buy. Sometimes people just stop by to ask for change or directions because we are in such a visible spot. We don't have any big signs or advertisements. We just open the shutters in the morning and wait for the first customers. It’s a steady kind of work. We keep an eye on the prices and try to make sure we have enough of the popular items so we don't run out. The storeroom in the back is always full of sacks and boxes. It can get a bit loud with the traffic outside, but we don't mind it much. We have been here for a few years, and the business has become a part of our daily routine. It is a simple shop for simple needs, and that’s basically all there is to it. We just focus on keeping the shelves full and the customers satisfied.
