Laxmi General Store

Laxmi General Store is right in the heart of Bhatiyani Chohata. It’s an old area with narrow streets and lots of history. Our store is small and packed with all sorts of daily items. We have everything from soap to snacks piled up on the shelves. It’s a bit tight inside, especially when more than two people come in at once. We’ve been at Bhatiyani Chohata for a long time, so we know all the neighbors. It’s a noisy place with bikes and tourists walking past all the time. We open early and close late. Sometimes we forget to restock a certain biscuit or tea brand, and we have to tell people to come back tomorrow. Laxmi General Store isn't a supermarket. It’s just a local corner shop. The wooden counter is old and a bit scratched up from years of use. We don't use a computer for everything; sometimes we just write things down in a notebook. It’s a simple way of living. We talk to everyone who comes in. Sometimes they stay for a chat about the weather or the local news. Bhatiyani Chohata feels like a village inside the city. We like it here even if it gets crowded and hot in the summer. It’s just us, the shelves, and the people of the neighborhood. Nothing fancy about it at all, just a shop on the corner.
