Krishnam Paints & Hardware

You can find us at 6 - B on the Hiran Magri Main Road. We’re over in Sector -14. It’s a pretty straightforward shop. We’ve got shelves full of paint cans and hardware supplies piled up almost to the ceiling. Krishnam Paints & Hardware has been my life for a good few years now. Most days I’m either mixing colors for someone or helping a guy find the right size of bolt for a repair. My hands usually have a bit of paint on them by the time lunch rolls around. The shop gets a lot of natural light because of the big front doors, which we keep open to let the breeze in. It gets quite busy on the weekends when everyone is trying to fix things around their houses. I know most of the people who walk through the door by their first names. We don’t have any fancy displays or anything. It’s just rows of tools and buckets. Sometimes I have trouble finding where I put a specific wrench, but I usually get there in the end. The Hiran Magri area is a good place to work. It’s got a lot of activity. We keep the prices fair and just try to be helpful when someone comes in with a problem they don’t know how to fix. It’s honest work and it keeps me busy. I usually close up around seven and head home, ready to do it all over again tomorrow. It is a steady way to live.
